I'm thinking Black Templar or Grey Knights/Daemon Hunters

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

Yeah, he's a Venerable DC Dread. As soon as I saw the FW Chappie Dread released I thought it would be a perfect torso part to do my dread conversion. Thanks again to Sam for being pic master, and to BigRed for his help and actually getting us on the site - much appreciated.

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

I have a question for any orc players. Can a nob in charge of a shoota/slugga boys get the big shoota option? In the codex it does not say that he can as an option. I noticed before that Goatboy had the big shoota option with his mobs. Thanks for the help.

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

Does anyone know, where the dread's arms and/or the power claws come from?
They don't look like the standard furioso ones and aren't the ones from forgeworld.
I always wanted to order one from FW but I didn't like the MKIV arms... but that one is a true beauty! :D

*edit*
Okay, found it out myself... It's the Furioso arms. I just realized, that I didn't even notice that the model was revamped and that I have a very old one. Well, no I have to order 2 Furiosos ... *g*
*/edit*

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

Why cant thay act this way Chapdreads count as Chaplines, ok you cant attach them to the unit but you keep him close by and you get more controle over the DC.

Iv not got the rlue in front of me but i thing that would work.

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

Exactly. The moment it went online for sale, I purchased it. It's one of the very few "must haves" I've encountered with models.

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 7-11-09

He actually uses it as a Death Company dreadnought.
