REAL WORLD: Bolters are Real!
I'm looking forward to the possibility of plastic plaguebearers.
From my side I say good luck.
Daemons are the only ray of hope from these rumours and that's what? A year and a half late now?

FINALLY!
*dances*
Then I understand and completly agree..
1st gen where understated, very chaotic and cool
2nd gen had theese extrmly big claws and tongous.. not cool!!
3rd where the last metal ones... the best id say. As i understod it they where to "sexy" to be retained as blueprints for the next gen which was..
The plastic ones!!
Unfortunatley im pretty sure they will be made to match the plastics on foot though...
Assuming I'm right, try using plastic glue on plastic models. You'll get a much better bond, and it's worlds easier to put them together.
GW has stated earlier this year that they can only produce ~30 new plastic sprues per year - has anyone counted the number released so far this year?
This is terrible.
You need a new group.
Even the GW stores and tournaments let you play with FW stuff...
As far as tzeench not getting new models, I am ok with that. IMO they have some of the best looking and characterful models of all the daemons. I just wish Pink horrors split into blue horrors like back in the day.
I thought we did that with regular GW stuff? :P
I'm looking forward to the possibility of plastic plaguebearers.
I've seen their resin stuff, their custom decals, and their brass etch sheets. I'm pretty familiar with all their stuff, and so far as I know, nothing they make now or have ever made was in plastic.
theres enough of a fan base to justify the release, and im sure that like the ogres, some of them will be available as dogs choices for other armies. meaning that GW can start making money of an army that people are still paying for, whilst doing it in a limited enough number to make it financially viable (how many mammoths or thunderhawk gunships do you think are out there?).
that's if these rumours are true of course.
Seekers and 'princes would make nice additions to my army,
I wouldn't be suprised if the reason for no plastic horrors is profit margin. A large number of horrors count as some pretty potent mages in WFB, and as the only real ranged unit for 40K, and really good at it, they're very desirable.
It could be just that they are a difficult design prospect. Keeping the variable dynamic style might be a bit hard in multipart.
I would LOVE to be able to add a few units into my thousand sons army, but for now, I await the plastic horrors (which were promised ages ago) and the new Legions book along with all the plastic goodies that it brings for my thousand sons.
Second: I doubt that this new split off company would even come to existence with out a firm demand for it. This company producing Chaos Dwarfs is a good thing all around. FW also owns the rights to WH Ancient Battles, which hopefully will move over to this new company.
It'll be cool if this comes to pass. As for Plastic Plaguebearers... I got so many I'm unlikely to invest heavily unless I can use them in my Millitia. I gotta have 30 plus painted metal ones...
Awesome to see the Mounted Daemonettes in plastic coming though, great news, more choice in my Fast Attack stuff.
The Daemon Prince is nice too, however I have a FW Khorne one, so I'll probably get that one to create a Tzeentch prince of sorts.
2nd wave daemons a year and a half AFTER when they should've been released.
Nids before Dark Eldar, Necrons, Grey Knights and Sisters of Battle.
Blood Angels before the fore-mentioned armies AND Tau & Black Templar.
And if Chaos Dwarfs go to Forge World then that is just rubbing salt in the wounds.
Just thought I'd point out here that the on the fantasy side the only 'new' part of this article is the plagubearers, everything else was already known for months. You forgot the metal characters as well. ;)
There will be SOME CD models produced entirely by GW, can Bigred confirm either here or in the lounge whether he means 100% of the army?
It's not going to be 'forgeworld' btw, the fantasy one will be doing this. ;)
This will also be good as maybe Forge World will put out the army book. This would help get more universal support on using the Forge World books in everyday gaming and smaller tournaments without a hassle.
the bloodletters - better, more streamlined models, though the originals were cool - Khorne should ALWAYS have axes!!
Or the way of the demonettes - COMPLETE CRAP!!!!!!!
I think it might be a better idea to get your hands on the plaguebearers while you can. Though a new metal command was released around the time of the demons release, and if they had planned on releasing plastic plaguebearers, it's unlikely they would have created brand new metal commands.

And 'Nids Q1, I nearly wet myself...that is very exciting!!
