I just got done putting a Battlwagon together, and I still have lots of little parts left over. Remember to put the rear door on the cab before putting the top plate on the back, I forgot and now I can stare straight through it!

I almost forgot to as well, but some tricky finger acrobatics saved me!
I actually got my dates mixed up and thought the new orks came out on Friday instead of Saturday. I was visiting an area with a GW Battle Bunker (don't want to get the employees in trouble) and was leaving on Friday. I stopped in to get a Battlewagon only to find they couldn't sell it until the next day! Being six hours from home, there was no way I could come back. Luckily, the staff was incredibly accommodating and sold me gift card for the value of a Battlewagon and brough out a black plastic bag with one inside. There was a tournament that day, and had anyone noticed I'm sure it wouldn't have been pretty. Anyway, I hope those particular staffers read this and see that they totally made my day, because had that not happened I would be high and dry. My local store isn't receiving the new models until this coming Thursday!! So thank you, Games Workshop employees.

Sounds awkwardly like my 5th ed rulebook. To put a long story short, I got it 2 days early thanks to some excuses and a very nice staff. So I too thank the staff at GW

I like the bigrig style of the battlewaggon, but no deffrolla AND no killkannon? When's the other half of the kit coming out?

There was a sidebar in January's White Dwarf that said "coming soon." Later this year perhaps?

Got two boxes of Nobs last saturday, these are easily one of the best kits GW has produced so far. Nicely detailed parts and lots of extra bits to use as you please that should be easy to use for other models. Very satisfied with them, I'm actually using several to replace the Nob leaders in my boyz mobs so that I have properly sized Nobs leading them now.
Can't speak on the BW or either of the SCs, not planning on getting either.

im amazed how much attention orks have had..if you include black reach and the stompa, they'll of had four waves of miniatures in 2 years. I can only wish in vain that the other xenos get this kind of attention.

Well after 10 years of table scraps and being one of the races around since the very earliest days of 40K I guess they (and Ork fans everywhere) deserve it. In that time all xenos have had almost all their models updated, most of my collection consists of GorkaMorka vehicles.
Still.. It's a good time to be green, I really think GW have done some of their best work on all the new Ork stuff and do hope your chosen Xenos gets some similar lovin'.

Oh absolutely, they totally deserved this kind of attention. I remember when they were almost as popular as marines back in first and second edition too. I think its great even if they dont appeal to me! I cant help but be impressed by the miniatures and attention they are getting - and I've really enjoyed playing against them as well.

The BW is really quite a fun kit. It fits together easily and if you dont glue down half the components, creates for an awesome kit. I myself cut of the cannon of the turret, and replaced it with another big shoota for my dakka wagon. Now I can pick how it looks like before each battle. I want to magnetise it, so it fits together easily.
I gota get me some nobs soon.

As an Ork player I'm green with JOY!
I picked up Snikrot yesterday to paint up for the local GWs painting competition, and this model just oozes flavour!!
Whenever they get more Nobz and BWs in I'll be adding them in too!

As a veteran from RT, Orks were indeed as popular as SM in those early days. In fact for many years it was SM, Ork and Eldar only. As I got older I hated the cartoony looking orks and the Gorkamorka variants. Ever since the new plastic boys and altogether nastier look to the Ork army i've been hooked. As one of the oldest races in the game I'm glad they are getting some love from GW. Now how about a re-launch of DE (they really missed a great opportunity first time around) and timely updates to BA, DA and SW Marine armies. Once this is done, most races will just need a few additions and variants from then.

while i have to admit i don't really like the BW like they released it, the kit offers enough parts to build i like i want to (or 2 kits maybe), but there is stuff i will get before this one. But the nobs are great the amount of options made me rip apart some of those (boring) AOBR nobs and give them some fancy new stuff, worked quite well, just a saw and some greenstuff and here we go.
