Bell of Lost Souls: NEWS: Orks On Advance Order!

  • Vepr · 1 year ago
Still trying to decide if I like it. I need to see one painted up.
  • David · 1 year ago
I must say the BW looks mighty impressing when given a nice paintjob!
The new ork characters are cool although i think they suffer from the same problems, all the orks from the new edition suffer from - Unrealistically, and boxy heads. Really wish they could make them as well as Brian Nelson's. But the posing and bodies are just ace!!!

Hmm, Badrukk has fallen into a time warp and has appeared back in 40k space as an orC.
  • rockdeity · 1 year ago
how can you not like that? BTW, there were two painted up, one open topped on BoLS not long ago. I love that the ram prow looks like an ork jaw ^_^

Urg- ugly piecacrap- even for an ork's taste- I think

I can't wait for these to start showing up on table tops. As was commented on before it does look like an ugly piece of crap but then thats exactly how its supposed to look like as we are talking about orks here. None of those sleek aerodynamic curves on this bad boy. Nope just a bunch of steal welded together with some tracks slapped on and a lunatic behind the wheel.

Compared to Bonebreakas, Skullhammas and Gobsmashas this is a pretty crappy design.
  • Moooooo! · 1 year ago
So I guess Orks never build anything that could pass as "cool."

I still can't fathom why anyone would play Orks and not simply scratchbuild everything out of junk, bits, and old toys. Ork vehicles routinely look like someone took an old 3 year old's toy and added bits.

Because not everyone has the time, patience, skill or inclination to do so.

BTW, this battlewagon is sooo much cooler than leman russes and land raiders. :p

YOWZER. It's crazy to me how some people HATE this Battlewagon. Not just, "Oh, it's not what I would like," but straight up spittle-flying hate. I think the model looks really good, I'm excited to see new plastic products from Games Workshop.
  • dethmansam · 1 year ago
I am wondering, has anyone heard of a possibility of a plastic deffrolla?
  • Azzy · 1 year ago
Having seen pictures of the sprues, there is no deffrolla in the kit. Unfortunately. Neither does there appear to be a lobba or killkannon. Still, it looks like a great kit.
  • UltramarineFan · 1 year ago
I thought the gun on top was meant to be the killkannon.
If it isn't then just add another barrel made out of card to it.
    Simple.
  • David McKinnis · 1 year ago
I'll wait till someone offers the tracks on ebay and make a Bonecruncha.

It is too thin. Such a horrid model. This model not even good for scrap to make a battewagon due to its high cost.

Just seems to be an expensive trukk to me.

I'll stick with being a true ork and scratch building my own vehicles
  • Nerje · 1 year ago
I always sort of imagined the battlewagon to be a little wider. It's too 'tall', in the sense that it looks like one terminator charge will push it over in it's side and land on half the advancing orks.

My Land Raider conversion looks great simply because it takes up enough table space to look like a threat. This thing isn't much bigger than a trukk, not the way a Land Raider looks compared to a Rhino or Leman Russ.

I think, in general, this kit is a bit of a misfire, as it also dosn't have some of the cool upgrade options included. But I'll still get one because the front end would make an awesome head for my scratch built stompa.
  • UltramarineFan · 1 year ago
Actually it's only slightly slimer than a land raider and it is bigger than the trukk like the land raider is bigger than the rhino.
