With the eldar heat lances is the +2 to the vehicle damage chart roles in addition to the +1 from it being a D weapon and the +1 from it being a AP 1 weapon?
Awesome minidex!

All right! I've been looking forward to this. Great going guys -- and cool conversions (although I think I like my Knight Lancer conversion a bit better :-). This'll add a lot of spark to future games of Apoc. Thanks!

Okay, I take away my praise just a tiny bit -- I've been working on a Knight Lancer based on the original Epic models, namely the ones with long legs and a single weapon. But, you chose the slightly newer model with the weapon and the lance. Now my model doesn't fit at all. Are there plans to do a variant KL along the lines of the original models -- fast, single big weapon, and (maybe) small secondary weapon without lance ("Knight Lancer" in this case being just a name for a fast "scout mech" sort of unit, not the name for one of its weapons)?

Holy hell! Iv been waiting for this, and its simply amazing.
I love the conversions.
I wish the Dominatrix was a little more unbelievably stronger, as its (according to some sources) the main battle leader, and destroying it almost defeats the entire planetary invasion... or at least... iv been told.

Not to be nit-picky (honest), but I think that's called a "PDF" file, not an "Adobe Acrobat File". Adobe would love to own the file format, but I'm afraid they don't. Not yet, anyhow. :)
Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange.

Great work so far, I'm going to need to read some more. What I was most looking forward to was the Slaaneshi knight.
A couple of nit picks: The Hell Knight of Slaanesh in Epic is equipped with a thermal lance, but no blastmasters. It only had bolters.
The range on the Blastmaster is incorrect for the single frequency shot.
The agile rule. Should the vehicle have the fleet special rule? Should the text for agile read that it can "run 2D6"? If it has the fleet rule it can then assault.
You could allow it to run 1D6 and still fire the blastmaster. This would be similar to the rules the Subjugator uses.
(and the picture is Opfor_Alpha's Hell Strider :P, you're not fooling me!)

Great work on the pdf! My only tiny concern is with the Reaver Titan. The one from Forge World comes with some combination of Laser Blaster and Gatling Blaster... neither of these are choices in the Lords of Battle? Also, with the rules for Reaver Titans coming out at the end of this month, will these stats be changed to match what Forge World has, or left as is?
Bigred
I've purposely made both Reavers use variant designations from the ancient Adeptus Titanicus game to differentiate them from the more potent upcoming Forgeworld rules. So you can use the more potent and expensive new model and rules, or use these rules and your armorcast models to represent the rarer and cheaper "obsolete" Reavers

I've got a friend who's gonna use the Deathstrike in an Apoc game but it's not clear how it fires from the Datasheet. Logically it's gonna fire like a Deathstrike missile but I suspect he thinks it fires like ordinary ordnance. Is there an FAQ on this?

I like the book, the fluff and conversion are awesome. But rules wise seem that the imperium specially titans get the worst rules of all. Too expensive and not as much killing capabilities specially vs gargantuan creatures that are overpowered thanks to ST D weapons only causing them 1 wounds.
Giving titan holofields to the Dominatrix it's like giving them a 4+ inv save as gargantuans are not affected by crew shaken and the power can not be canceled ..... .

There“s a typo in there...
On one of the big IG tanks it says 3 plasma cannons on the side, but the profile dossnt have heavy 1, BLAST...
Otherwise, nice...

I'm almost ashamed to admit, they are the legs from He-man's robot horse. I would have used something else, but they were free and had a certain '80's cartoon charm.

The legs look good, and are very slaaneshi. I've commented on your flickr page. I'd like to know more about the construction as I'm interested in building some super heavies in the future. I like the style so I'd love to know about the rest of the components.

Very impressive. I just spent the last hour or so reading over the latest edition of the Lords of Battle. As usual your quality of product is outstanding. I can't wait to break out some of the old models and put them to use again.
Thanks for all that you do for the 40k community. Keep it up, we are paying attention.

Great book!!! I love the models and comversions included. The pic of the Imperial guard with all the armour and the Capitol imperialis is just awsome. I was wondering though, if you could post a quick summary of some of the smaller changes that you have made.
All in all great book.

Wow, this caught me out of the blue, and pretty much right when I needed it. I heart you guys :) (If anyone was wondering why, its actually darned tricky to find pictures and points costs and weaponry of knight class titans! These are the bad boys I see defending my templars loyalist home worlds from incursions, and the toy that I want to try scratch building for my army and apocalypse missions... and now I have a formation for them! You guys rule! Thanks Bell!)
if I was going to suggest an addendum to this document, that truly awesome grey knight titan conversion that I found whilst web-searching knight-titans deserves a page, though perhaps permission from its makers might be in order... (one of the most awesome titan conversions ever...its crushing a bloodthirster underfoot!)

As usual the production values are top-notch. I'm a little disappointed that so much of the flavor text for similar units was just cut-n-pasted from one to another, but it's not too bad. The Eldar "Tempest" is just the Imperial designation for the tank. It does have vastly different weapons from the Scorpion and should have a different data sheet even if the Eldar themselves consider them to be the same basic vehicle. An Eldar Scorpion is to an IG Shadowsword as a Tempest is to a Baneblade, in my opinion. It does appear that some of the point values were not re-balanced with v5. When deciding whether to take a Psychic Lance on my Warlock or a Distortion Cannon, there is zero reason to take the Lance and it should be the other way around. As mentioned above, it would have been nice to see a lot more options on these units since they're all scratch-built or unofficial anyway. Thanks for the great book!

Great job. As a fan returning from a 13 year hiatus from the game this brings back a lot of memories from days gone by(AT and SM). Maybe you will come up with Dark Future 40k minidex, small bands of mechanicus fighting it out on the grim highways of macharius for just a drop of gasoline and street cred.

I must say, this book is definatly inspiring me to add two or three more knights to my shelf, and to finally maybe get a coat of paint on the one I do have! (and off topic, but I would like to see the knight crushing the bloodthirster...I dont think I have before...
Also, who made the green dominatrix in the minidex? It is fething sweet! Was it sculpted or converted from a toy or something similar? Absolutely brilliant!

That Dominatrix is based off a FW Scythed Hierodule, and was converted by Hydra. It won a Bronze Golden Demon at Games Day Toronto in 2007. It was the first of three such conversions that I know of....

Awesome book! I love it, I must also write that models of Leviathan, Capitol, Deathstrike, Stalion, Phantom, Warlock, Hellknight, Harbinger (by the way, it is 40k model or epic scaled for Aeronautica?) and Dominatrix are simply GORGEOUS!:D Looking forward for more BIG stuff added (when looking into Epic: Decimators? Death Wheels? Feral Titans? Swifdeath Fighters? Ragnarok Heavy Tank? Steam Gargant? Squig Catapults? Tormentor Titan? Perditor? ....)

Gents,
Was going back over this WONDERFUL play aid for reference in creating my own datasheet and found one glaring error.
On the Leviathan and Capitol Imperialis. Your transport capacity matrix's are incorrect!
The Apoc rule book (pg 198) lists the transport size in superheavies for all model sizes (except full sized tanks, which regular apoc does not allow).
Apoc lists cavalry as 3 models, you list as 2. Apoc lists walkers as 10 models, you list as 5.
Suggest you ammend the size lists for these beasties to match the apoc rules, or simply refererence pg 198 in the Apoc rules - and then adjust the size for acrrying tanks upwards to 20 models (if walkers are 10 in apoc, and in your rules, tanks took up twice the space of walkers).
Does anyone know what '+1 on the Critical table' means (Knight Paladin Power Lance)? There is no critical table in both the 5th Edition Rulebook, nor in the Apocalypse Rulebook. There is the Damage Table, Super Heavy Dmg Table, and Catastrophic Dmg Table.
Awesome minidex!
Im gonna have to see if youve changed the rules for the armegeddon lol
