Soundtrack is charming. Zoom in a bit and level the camera.

I'm thinking of making Custodes and would like to know what pieces were used to make this one. And if that is a High Elf head how did you make it a closed helmet? Or is it a Guardian helmet?

The body is the space marine veterans (the old ones) and high elf heads with just a dab of greenstuff to cover the faces. For more detailed info, checkout our Adeptus Custodes articles at: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/search/label/cus...

Very nice! Thinking of doing something similar for my own website for a while, just need to get a cheap video camera.

My first attempt was using a Flip MinoHD. While the pixel count was very high, I could not get a clear image on such a small object. It was either too close for it to focus, or too far away to get a good image. Instead I used my still camera. Many digital cameras these days come with a video option. It is not great (640x480 in my case) and cannot record long videos. But, for these 30 second shots, they work fine. And with a good optical zoom, you should be able to pick up some detail.

That Pod Racer is a fantastic model! I love it. The turn style is good idea, maybe you should zoom in closer though so that the model takes up most of the screen.

Anyone else having trouble loading the page after this? 60% of the formatting is just gone. Firefox 3.0.1 OSX. However the page is loading fine in Safari.

If we could get 360 shots of some of the Fly Lords, that would be MAN-tastic!!

Great idea. Video length time is spot on. Maybe, some brighter lights that wash out shadows, would help. Revolving unit was another great idea. Best of luck.

Instead of using video you should use photos.
Video is good to have a quick overview. But if you want to see details steady pictures are much more better.
Nice pod by the way.

Make sure you don't use copyrighted music in the videos, otherwise they might get pulled. There is a lot of good quality royalty-free music out there.
OH the music, hahahahahahaha, that is just hilarious. Like a old time commercial or something. Now just four easy payments of Twenty cents, Thats right folks, twenty sense, And in the next five minuts gals, well be shipping them all across the country, for free! Thats right, absolutley free. Now if that's not a deal, then my uncle is a monkey.

I don't know if you guys are on Mac or PC (PC probably if you play DoW2) but you should check out something like Modelweaver http://www.easypano.com/store-modelweaver.html or similar and make some Quicktime VR 3d object movies. The quality would be awesome and you already have the setup with the turntable...
